Turn On Your Mind

Shine Your Anger

You shine your anger
You see the devil in my eyes
Project your selfish
Masochistic tendencies and lies
With every action
On everyone that loved you so much
You shine your anger
On every life you’ll ever touch

When will you admit it
Can you believe yourself at all
When will it fall apart
And leave you staring at a wall

 You shine your anger
Like a beacon of night through the day
It covers your pain
But it will never wash it away
You’ll leave me wanting
I’ll be alone and empty and frail
You shine your anger
Just like you’re driving a nail

When will it fall apart
And leave you staring at the wall
When will you admit it
Or can you believe yourself at all

When will it matter
Would you change the things you do
When will you realize
The me you hurt is you

The me you hurt is you

Not Interested

I’m not interested
in your rights or in your wrongs
in your screams or in your songs
in denial or belief
in your joy or in your grief

I’m not interested
in the darkness of your light
in the justice of your fight
in the shortness of your sight
I’m not interested

I’m not interested
in your lies or in your truth
in your faith or in your proof
in your destiny or fate
in your love or in your hate

I’m not interested
in hearing your sad reasons
in seeing your clear treason
in changing with your seasons
I’m not interested

I’m not interested
in your rise or in your fall
I’m not impressed at all
I’m just not interested

You, In The End

You
You wear guilt like a badge of honor
Like a license to do it again
Do it again
You…do it again

You
You live life like a film of horror
Like a knife in the back of a friend
You’re not a friend
You…you’re my best friend

You
You tear through love like a new sorrow
Like it will never happen again
Happen again
You…happen again

You
You give life a better tomorrow
Like it might be worth more in the end
More in the end
You…lie in the end

Half A Second

In a half an hour I’ll watch you go
In a half a minute I’ll be moving slow
In a half a day I’ll be dying fast
But in half a second…

Turn out the light
Can you hear me?
Turn on your mind
So silently
You’ll begin to live
As you watch me die
And every vision
Makes me cry

In a half an hour I’ll watch you go
In a half a minute I’ll be moving slow
In a half a day I’ll be dying fast
But in half a second…

Close your eyes
Tell me where you’ve been
Open your mind
As we proceed to spin
Reach for my hand
As you say goodbye
And every vision
Makes me cry

In a half an hour I’ll watch you go
In a half a minute I’ll be moving slow
In a half a day I’ll be dying fast
But in half a second…

Wipe away my tears
So bitter-sweet
Destructive moves
Revolve around retreat
I want to see you
But I wonder why
Every vision
Makes me cry

Magic Addictions

Like the dose you munch to trail
I’m the drug that you inhale
Addiction starts when you taste my lips
Your stomach cramps but you take my trips
You love me
You hate me
You need me so bad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

I’m the pain you feel inside
You’ll wish forever you had died
You say you’re leaving yet you’re still here
And you know I’m blind to all your tears
You need me
You hate me
You love me, it’s sad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

You’ve tasted poison, you know it kills
You’ve felt the pain but want the thrills
I’m so cruel I’d let you die
You feel the love and just can’t hide
From magic addictions

Like the hunger after a meal
I’m the emptiness you feel
Deceptive game with tools so cunning
As I walk toward death you come running
You’re living
You’re dying
You’re thinking you’re mad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

I’m the peace of mind you need
Yet I’d be happy to watch you bleed
You would fight for me right to your grave
But when you’re all done you’re still my slave
You’re thinking
You’re dying
You’re living a fad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

You’ve tasted poison, you know it kills
You’ve felt the pain but want the thrills
I’m so cruel I’d let you die
You feel the love and just can’t hide
From magic addictions

Color of the Damned

See through sightless eyes
Read between the lines
Listen to the wind
Try to find a Friend
Purple’s shining through
Mixing red and blue
Purple’s shining through
But what’s it mean?

Feel the pains of old
Fight the bitter cold
Reach past all the lies
To find truth in disguise
She’s the one I find
To destroy my peace of mind
And her colors make me blind
But I know the given time
Purple’s shining through
Mixing red and blue
Purple’s shining through
To only me

The Nightmare

Down the street
During the night
Around a corner
Toward the light
Together with no one
Within myself
By way of the mind
Concerning my health
Behind me comes someone
With evil intent
Because of my fear
From whom he was sent
Inside is safety
Outside is death
Between two worlds
In spite of what’s left
Around me is nothing
But what I was dreaming
By means of aggression
Prior to screaming
