Half A Second

In a half an hour I’ll watch you go
In a half a minute I’ll be moving slow
In a half a day I’ll be dying fast
But in half a second…

Turn out the light
Can you hear me?
Turn on your mind
So silently
You’ll begin to live
As you watch me die
And every vision
Makes me cry

In a half an hour I’ll watch you go
In a half a minute I’ll be moving slow
In a half a day I’ll be dying fast
But in half a second…

Close your eyes
Tell me where you’ve been
Open your mind
As we proceed to spin
Reach for my hand
As you say goodbye
And every vision
Makes me cry

In a half an hour I’ll watch you go
In a half a minute I’ll be moving slow
In a half a day I’ll be dying fast
But in half a second…

Wipe away my tears
So bitter-sweet
Destructive moves
Revolve around retreat
I want to see you
But I wonder why
Every vision
Makes me cry

Magic Addictions

Like the dose you munch to trail
I’m the drug that you inhale
Addiction starts when you taste my lips
Your stomach cramps but you take my trips
You love me
You hate me
You need me so bad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

I’m the pain you feel inside
You’ll wish forever you had died
You say you’re leaving yet you’re still here
And you know I’m blind to all your tears
You need me
You hate me
You love me, it’s sad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

You’ve tasted poison, you know it kills
You’ve felt the pain but want the thrills
I’m so cruel I’d let you die
You feel the love and just can’t hide
From magic addictions

Like the hunger after a meal
I’m the emptiness you feel
Deceptive game with tools so cunning
As I walk toward death you come running
You’re living
You’re dying
You’re thinking you’re mad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

I’m the peace of mind you need
Yet I’d be happy to watch you bleed
You would fight for me right to your grave
But when you’re all done you’re still my slave
You’re thinking
You’re dying
You’re living a fad
But the only fix I’ll let you have
Is a grain of sugar

You’ve tasted poison, you know it kills
You’ve felt the pain but want the thrills
I’m so cruel I’d let you die
You feel the love and just can’t hide
From magic addictions

Color of the Damned

See through sightless eyes
Read between the lines
Listen to the wind
Try to find a Friend
Purple’s shining through
Mixing red and blue
Purple’s shining through
But what’s it mean?

Feel the pains of old
Fight the bitter cold
Reach past all the lies
To find truth in disguise
She’s the one I find
To destroy my peace of mind
And her colors make me blind
But I know the given time
Purple’s shining through
Mixing red and blue
Purple’s shining through
To only me

‘Cross The Sky

As the sun begins to fall
I hear a distant, hell-like call
Not of terror nor of pain
It’s a sleepless voice, quite insane
It echoes deep within my head
Sounding not unlike the dead
And as the moon creeps ‘cross the sky
It asks me if I want to die…

As the stars shine through the night
My mind feels heavy, my body light
Floating toward a land I own
Floating past my earthly home
The voice, still distant, seems so clear
Something grips me, something near
And as the clouds sweep ‘cross the sky
It asks me if I want to die…

As the sun begins to rise
I feel the pain within the cries
Weeping for an untamed love
Denying that it’s had enough
The sounds vibrate then fade away
For darkness is where they must stay
And as the light spreads ‘cross the sky
I whisper, “I don’t want to die.”

The Nightmare

Down the street
During the night
Around a corner
Toward the light
Together with no one
Within myself
By way of the mind
Concerning my health
Behind me comes someone
With evil intent
Because of my fear
From whom he was sent
Inside is safety
Outside is death
Between two worlds
In spite of what’s left
Around me is nothing
But what I was dreaming
By means of aggression
Prior to screaming
